Sescoi Celebrates a Quarter Century of Innovative Engineering Software
Created in 1987, Sescoi has now been delivering engineering software systems and service to thousands of companies around the globe for 25 years. Its solutions, WorkNC CADCAM, WorkPLAN ERP and the WorkXPlore 3D high speed viewer integrate to provide engineering companies with solutions which are automated, reliable and designed to make the complex easy.
Sescoi’s more recently introduced software, WorkNC Dental and WorkXPlore 3D, have both been hailed as innovative solutions. Continuous enhancements and step change developments in WorkNC CADCAM and WorkPLAN ERP have ensured that Sescoi is recognized as a leader in its field.
At its R&D and administrative headquarters in Macon, France, Sescoi naturally works with its customers in the development of its software and services. Sescoi’s sales and support network provides coverage throughout the world, with subsidiary offices and personnel based in France, Germany, Spain, UK, USA, India, China, Japan and South Korea, and most recently in Brazil. In addition, it has over 40 distributors providing customers with the very highest level of technical support and consultancy locally.
When it launched its flagship software, WorkNC, in the late 80’s Sescoi was the pioneer inautomatic 3D CAM. WorkNC has since evolved into a complete solution for 2 to 5-axis machining, electrode creation and Wire EDM, used by toolmakers in a range of industries including automotive, aerospace, medical and consumer goods. WorkNC’s customers include Snecma, Eurocopter, Calor, Miele, Whirlpool, Samsung, Motorola, and virtually all of the world’s automotive OEMs and their supply chain.
Automated 5-axis machining, feature recognition, parallel processing, automatic stamping and robot milling are just some of the recent advances in WorkNC.
With Sescoi’s WorkPLAN ERP solutions, companies specializing in custom manufacture are able to leverage company data and manage tasks from quotation to delivery with transparency, accuracy, and significantly less administrative effort.
