EVE Becomes Member of Si2

EVE announced today that it has become a member of the Silicon Integration Initiative (Si2), an organization of 95 industry-leading companies in the semiconductor, electronic systems and electronic design automation (EDA) industries.

By joining Si2, EVE will have an opportunity to work cooperatively with other EDA tool providers on the development and adoption of standards to improve verification methodologies.

"Over a 24-year period, Si2 has proven to be remarkably effective," says Lauro Rizzatti, general manager of EVE-USA. "We look forward to having the opportunity to participate."

Adds Steve Schulz, president and chief executive officer of Si2: "We welcome EVE into Si2. As an innovative developer of hardware-assisted verification products, we will look to EVE to provide direction and input on the challenges of verifying complex chips."

EVE's ZeBu (for Zero Bugs) hardware-assisted verification platform is in use in production environments at leading semiconductor, communications, video and portable and stationary consumer product companies. EVE will offer demonstrations of the ZeBu hardware-assisted verification family in Booth #1926 at the 49th Design Automation Conference (DAC) June 4-6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Si2 will present a co-located event at DAC titled, "Si2 Round-Up @ DAC: Standards in Action," Monday, June 4. More information can be found at: www.dac.com/colocated
