GibbsCAM Helps Hardinge Show Off Product Line

Gibbs and Associates, developer of GibbsCAM® software for programming CNC machine tools and a Cimatron company, announced its participation at the Hardinge Machine Technology Show, HMTS 2012, which will feature Hardinge lathes, machining centers, grinders, plus workholding and rotary products. Seminars by manufacturing technology experts will be held in morning and afternoon sessions on both days, while demonstrations by Hardinge’s tooling and technology partners, including Gibbs and Associates, will be conducted throughout the event. The show will be held between 9:00AM and 4:30PM, on June 6-7, at Hardinge Headquarters, One Hardinge Drive, Elmira, New York.

Gibbs and Associates will demonstrate GibbsCAM’s support for the entire line of Hardinge CNC turning and milling machines. Visitors will see GibbsCAM’s ease of CNC programming – featuring the various options available for generating a machining process, enabling users to program the way they want, unrestricted by interface or software limitations – plus GibbsCAM’s integrated toolpath verification and machine-tool simulation.

“Throughout our history, we have supported the full line of Hardinge cutting machines, and this Hardinge show provides us with another opportunity to demonstrate our superior capabilities,” said Bart Ehlers, Gibbs’ Regional Distribution Manager. “We have worked together to deliver complete solutions to our customers, in various industries, for nearly 30 years. We look forward to another opportunity to demonstrate the superiority of GibbsCAM’s ease-of-use, capability, speed and productivity with Hardinge products.”

In addition to its modular suite of CAM software, Gibbs and Associates maintains an extensive library of more than 11,000 unique, error-free post-processors, including post-processors for all of the Hardinge CNC lathes and machining centers.
