Informative Graphics Announces Release of Brava! 7 for EMC TaskSpace

Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) announces today the release of Brava!(R) 7 for EMC Documentum TaskSpace 6.6 and 6.7 SP1. The release debuts this week at EMC World (www.emcworld.com ) at the Venetian Conference Center in Las Vegas, booth 1127.

Brava offers multi-format viewing and collaboration that is ideal for transactional business applications common to TaskSpace customers. Users only need a web browser to access files, so no desktop installations are needed. The original document is never sent to client machines and is never modified, maintaining the integrity of the original document.

Most notable in this new version is Brava's Compare feature, which allows users to compare different versions of a document or CAD drawing, even if those versions are in different formats (e.g., Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF). For text-searchable documents, users can step through each area of difference one at a time and even create a summary report of differences. For drawings, users can view the versions side by side or overlay one on the other. Areas of difference are highlighted in red or green (deletions and additions, respectively).
