Optitex Expands Offering through Partnership with McNeel

OptiTex is proud to present its expanded offering for the textile market's production challenges, through a new partnership with McNeel.

The partnership couples McNeel's rapid prototyping and 3D modeling advantages with OptiTex's flattening algorithms, technical pattern making capabilities and 3D physical simulation. The joint solution digitally connects design and prototyping divisions with the relevant visualization, pattern making and production floors departments. The witnessed outcome is a reduction in the number of physical samples, which are replaced by multiple, customizable virtual prototypes. Technical and engineering departments can now respond faster and better, to the ever-growing needs of design, management and merchandise divisions.

"The partnership enhances OptiTex's offering to our target markets, proving once again that by working with other like-minded companies, OptiTex can bring worthwhile technology to the apparel, automotive, aeronautics, industrial fabrics and upholstery industries."Says Sagi Shani, CTO “OptiTex is most successful when we act as trusted advisors to our customers, working closely with them to shape emerging technologies into productive and profitable tools."
