ZWCAD+ Brings More Opportunities to Developers with the New APIs
ZWCAD Design today officially announced that the new APIs on ZWCAD+ are now code level compatible with other mainstream CAD software. This enables developers to port their applications to ZWCAD+ much faster and with less effort.
“The new APIs are among the most exciting highlights of ZWCAD+,” says Kingdom Lin, the ZWCAD+ Overseas Business Director. “We’re truly amazed by how fast our developers have been porting their existing applications to ZWCAD+ over the past few months. It usually took them several months to port a code intensive application, but now at most it only takes a few weeks.”
Popular CAD applications, such as CADprofi, have been successfully ported to ZWCAD+. CADprofi is a professional CAD application for architectural, building services, electrical engineering, and more. It was ported to ZWCAD in 2010, and has sold hundreds of its applications every year.
“We decided to port our applications to ZWCAD, because ZWSOFT is a major player in the international CAD industry, and it continues to gain more customers at a fast pace. Together with ZWSOFT, we bring down the overall costs dramatically when customers choose ZWCAD and CADprofi as their CAD solution,” said Jacek Kosiorek, CEO of CADprofi Group. “After we saw ZWCAD+ for the first time at the ZWSOFT Global Partner Conference in early 2012, we knew there would be more sales opportunities with ZWCAD+. And we started to port our applications to ZWCAD+ shortly after.”
It took CADprofi Group less than a month to get the migration work done. Now CADprofi works smoothly on ZWCAD+, and it will be available to users worldwide when ZWCAD+ is officially released.
