Hardwick Clothes Streamlines Production with New Version of Shop Floor Control Software from NGC
NGC® Software today announced that Hardwick Clothes, the oldest privately held domestic men’s and women’s apparel company in the United States, has upgraded to the latest version of NGC’s Shop Floor Control.
An NGC customer for over 13 years, Hardwick Clothes has managed its workforce and production of its “made-in-the-U.S.A.” luxury garment line with NGC’s Shop Floor Control. The latest version allows Hardwick Clothes to improve operational efficiency through daily workforce performance analysis, and increase production output through enhanced resource planning and elimination of bottlenecks—all on one system.
The new features of NGC’s Shop Floor Control will help Hardwick Clothes:
Centralize production control and incentive payroll. Hardwick Clothes creates all of its production work orders centrally, and the system then routes each order to the individual production facilities. NGC Shop Floor Control’s daily reporting gives Hardwick Clothes clear visibility and insight into the productivity of its factory, allowing the company to control costs more effectively.
Manage raw materials. NGC’s Shop Floor Control will allow Hardwick Clothes to view raw materials overage and shortage reports for its factory. Managing raw materials inefficiently can be an expensive mistake to make, since the prices of cotton and other fabrics are at an all time high. With NGC’s Shop Floor Control, Hardwick Clothes can accurately determine when to purchase more materials.
Assure Quality Control. Hardwick Clothes’ reputation for producing high quality garments is supported through NGC’s Shop Floor Control quality control features. NGC’s software collects data in real-time and provides Hardwick Clothes with highly detailed quality reports.
