TechExcel Unveils MyDevSuite for iPad and Android Tablets
TechExcel Inc. today announced a new tablet application for DevSuite, the company’s integrated platform for requirements management, implementation tracking and quality management. MyDevSuite is an add-on module that enables DevSuite users to access requirements, tasks and bugs anytime, anywhere via their iPad and Android tablets. The rapid adoption of smart mobile devices is changing the way organizations accommodate how employees work. MyDevSuite leverages this growing trend to ensure projects stay on track and help maximize developer productivity.
With MyDevSuite installed on their iPad and Android tablets, users can see all their development releases, milestones, and sprint folders as well as the tasks assigned under each development milestone or sprint. Requirement documents are also automatically converted into easy to read PDF or image formats that can be viewed and synchronized with audio recordings. Users can also easily record a document voiceover and synchronize it with annotations and page/position/mouse movements.
MyDevSuite also includes integrated Kloud meeting capabilities for real-time communication and collaboration across smart mobile devices. Users can share screens and audio presentations with other users, allowing them to view requirement documents and actions/annotations on their own tablets.
MyDevSuite Design Principles
MyDevSuite communicates remotely with a MyDevSuite server, which is provided free as part of an on-premise install or hosted trial. This MyDevSuite Server adds several key functions to the standard DevSuite installation to support data and voice synchronization and delivery to mobile devices, as well as, impromptu meeting functions.
