Gerber Technology to Demonstrate YuniquePLM Solution at Outdoor Retailer Show in Salt Lake City
Gerber Technology will demonstrate its PLM solution at the 2012 Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City, Utah on Aug. 2-5. Through interactive demonstrations, visitors will witness how YuniquePLM can help improve the efficiency of the product lifecycle to enable retailers, manufacturers and brand owners to deliver the right products to stores, on time and at the right cost.
YuniquePLM enables users to manage all the details associated with their product lines, including line plans, tech packs, bills of material, samples and RFQs. The system is known for its powerful business intelligence capability, delivering comprehensive, up-to-the minute information that helps managers and executives make the most informed business decisions.
Several leading outdoor retail brands, including Merrell (a division of Wolverine Worldwide), Pearl Izumi, Bergans of Norway, France’s Jonathan & Fletcher, Russell Athletic (a Fruit of the Loom company) and Bosco Sports of Italy have adopted YuniquePLM to streamline their design and production processes.
Donny Askin, general manager of Gerber’s Yunique Solutions business, said, “With American consumers alone spending upward of $646 billion a year on outdoor-related products, you get a sense of the breadth and depth of this industry. As these companies grow, they are looking for technology that can help them manage the complexity of their product lines. With Gerber’s YuniquePLM system, users get not only an industry-leading PLM solution but also a team of experts who can offer best practices to help them grow and be profitable.”
