Tech Soft 3D and SmartScape Formalize Preferred Partnership Agreement

Tech Soft 3D, Inc. and SmartScape build on their 10-year relationship by announcing a new formal arrangement to support one another's business efforts. SmartScape, a Tokyo-based systems integrator and services provider, will use Tech Soft 3D's HOOPS Suite as the preferred toolkits for its development activities. Tech Soft 3D will in turn refer Japan-based customers to SmartScape for additional development projects.

The companies share a commitment to supporting an ecosystem for 3D PDF. Tech Soft 3D develops HOOPS Exchange and HOOPS Publish, both based on PRC, the native 3D format within PDF. SmartScape has extensive experience bringing 3D PDF enterprise solutions to the Japanese Manufacturing Industry, including technology from Tech Soft 3D partners ProSTEP AG and Tetra 4D, which respectively provide server-based CAD to 3D conversion, and the 3D PDF Converter Acrobat X Pro plug-in.

Takashi Yoshida, CEO of SmartScape, says, "Partnering with Tech Soft 3D will be a solid strategy to shape our slogan, 'Information Graphics Technology for Industry.' With a practical use of the sophisticated HOOPS Suite toolkits, we will provide applications that improve visualizing and organizing the information of the manufacturing process for our industrial customers."
