AVEVA Highlights Integrated Shipbuilding Strategy at Navalshore

AVEVA announced today that it is exhibiting and presenting at Navalshore 2012. Its Integrated Shipbuilding strategy will be the topic of a conference lecture on August 2nd presented by Ricardo Rabelo. In addition, the AVEVA Marine software portfolio will be demonstrated on the show floor at booth 441.

'Navalshore attracts some of the largest and most important companies in the shipbuilding and offshore industries,'" said Santiago Peña, Senior Vice President –Latin America, AVEVA. 'We have a comprehensive and very attractive proposition for suppliers and builders who will be attending this event. Our solutions ensure that all key processes have the correct information about materials and resources at the right time throughout the project lifecycle. This minimises costs and delivery times, while maximising overall productivity and profitability - providing a competitive advantage.'

This Integrated Shipbuilding strategy is helping companies optimise procurement, design and production in shipyards, through improved information management, reduced project time, increased productivity and lower costs.

With 45 years of expertise and 9 of the 10 largest shipyards in the world using its technology, AVEVA sees a huge business opportunity within the marine industry in Brazil. AVEVA is helping local shipyards to become more competitive and assist them in achieving the level of quality demanded by today’s international standards.

Navalshore is where shipping companies and shipyards in Brazil come for new technologies, best practices and the best negotiations. After eight years of success, Navalshore has established itself as the largest exhibition for the naval and offshore industries in Latin America and is universally acknowledged as the strategic event for the product and service chain in Brazil.
