PROCAD Celebrates 24th Year Anniversary
PROCAD Software (http://www.procad.com) marks its twenty fourth anniversary this year. From its roots as a consulting firm for the emerging CAD field, PROCAD has grown into a global provider of 3D and 2D piping and plant design software. Today, businesses in more than 42 countries rely on PROCAD’s industry-specific software to increase plant design efficiency across the world.
“Twenty-four years ago, we found a need for designer-friendly software and introduced 2D DESIGNER® products for everyday drafting needs,” said Zaia Abraham, president, PROCAD Software. “As the second millennium approached, we realized there was a new market demand for 3D solutions. We created an affordable 3D solution with 3DSMART®, which was a technological breakthrough for PROCAD and the industry with its database-powered architecture. A common database enabled better design efficiency with real-time data sharing across all teams.”
PROCAD has made significant software advancements over the past two decades, culminating in its newest product, PapriCAD® 3D. Built on PROCAD’s database-powered platform, PapriCAD 3D helps companies achieve successful piping and plant installations more quickly, more accurately and at reduced costs with key features such as easy set-up and deployment, intelligent spec-driven designs and built-in Autodesk AutoCAD®.
