Cadsoft Corporation Releases Envisioneer 8
Cadsoft Corporation is proud to announce the release of Envisioneer 8.
From design to documentation, to material takeoff and presentation, Envisioneer 8 introduces major enhancements in many areas of the software, without compromising the ease of use. This new release delivers on Cadsoft’s promise to produce an easy-to-use, comprehensive BIM solution for the residential design, construction, and building materials supply chain.

Key features include:
- New all-in-one Navigator controller for quick and easy view changes and onscreen walk through capability
- New Import Site Data tool for importing spot levels from a site recorder file and creating an instant contoured terrain mesh
- New Wall Panels feature for automatically extracting, sorting and annotating framed wall panel diagrams
- Improved rendering speed and quality
- Improved material list generation with a focus on optimal lumber, roof and wall extraction
- New SketchUp Export and improved SKP Import
- Greater construction document productivity tools for including Revision Clouds and improved PDF Import
- Added BIM object intelligence when editing of walls and associated objects
