Increased Manufacturing Efficiency for Composites Applications

From 9 to 11 October 2012, CENIT will be on site at the COMPOSITES EUROPE in Hall 8B, Booth E17 to showcase end-to-end PLM solutions for composites applications. Composites - highly durable and lightweight, fiber-reinforced materials, have become virtually indispensable throughout the manufacturing industry. CENIT’s experts will demonstrate how modern software solutions and end-to-end processes can be harnessed to sustainably boost manufacturing effectiveness.

The biggest attention-grabber at CENIT’s fair booth will be an electric race car, the FP612e, created by the West Saxony University of Zwickau (WHZ). CENIT is supporting the WHZ’s Formula Student team this season, also by helping them shift from a steel tube frame to a monocoque construction. Interested visitors will have plenty of opportunity for discussions with the experts. CENIT’s specialists for the composites sector possess deep know-how the fields of digital development, calculation, design and manufacture of components made from composite materials.

Visitors to the event can also witness a demonstration of CENIT’s proprietary software toolbox FASTSUITE for offline programming of industrial robots. As value added reseller for the entire PLM portfolio of Dassault Systèmes, CENIT will also take advantage of the COMPOSITES EUROPE to showcase topics such as design with CATIA and analysis and simulation with SIMULIA.
