Objet Ltd. today announced that the company will exhibit its range of 3D printing solutions, together with its local South African partner, DemaPlasTech PTY, at AfriMold 2012.

“During AfriMold we will exhibit two different professional 3D printing systems from opposite ends of the price-spectrum,” explains Jacques Kleynhans, director of DemaPlasTech. Participants at AfriMold will be able to experience up close Objet desktop 3D Printers, regarded as top of the line professional desktop systems offering 28 micron layer resolution and up to 7 different materials including clear transparency and engineering-plastics performance. In addition, an Objet Connex multi-material 3D Printer will be on display – offering a choice of over 100 different materials and the ability to print varying material properties in one part, such as varying color shades, flexibilities and transparencies.

Zehavit Reisin, head of the consumables line of business at Objet, will also be in attendance speaking on the topic of “From Design to Reality.”

The sole distributor of Objet line of 3D printers in South Africa, DemaPlasTech has been meeting the needs of a variety of clients for many years. According to Kleynhans; “The company places major importance on customer satisfaction and our partnership with Objet has afforded the marketplace a mix of great technology coupled with first-class service provided by DemaPlasTech.”

“With this winning combination, progressive South African manufacturers who invest in the Objet line of 3D printing technology can lead the way forward and remain competitive in a tough global market,” concluded Kleynhans.

Visitors will be able to view the Objet range of 3D Printers and speak to representatives at booth C47.
