3D3 Solutions Introduces the HDI Blitz 3D Scanner at TCT Live 2012
3D3 Solutions, a developer of 3D scanning and visualization technologies, announces the official release of the HDI Blitz 3D scanning system at TCT Live 2012 located at The NEC, Birmingham, UK. The system is the latest 3D scanning solution from the company that captures digital 3D scans from physical objects in seconds. 3D3 Solutions is demonstrating the HDI Blitz for the first time at TCT Live, the event for additive manufacturing, 3D printing & product development, in Hall 3A, Stand U23.

The HDI Blitz requires minimal amount of setup time. Simply plug in the system, install the 3D scanning software on the computer and it is ready for scanning. The 3D scanner uses white light 3D scanning technology that scans an object without any direct contact to ensure there is no measurement interference. The system captures a 3D scan in one second and generates more than a million data points (two million polygons) per scan. It includes basic post-processing capabilities such as aligning and merging that transforms 3D scans into a complete digital 3D model.
3D3 Solutions continues along the path of developing 3D scanning systems with affordability and flexibility in mind. The HDI Blitz 3D Scanner offers high resolution 3D scanning results at a fraction of the cost of comparable systems.
