Mcor Appoints Saitu Graphics Equipment Co., Ltd as Chinese Reselling Partner at 3D Printshow in London

Mcor Technologies Ltd announced that it has appointed Saitu Graphic Equipments Co. Ltd (http://saituprint.com/), headquartered in Shanghai, China, as their Chinese distribution partner. Based on the agreement, Saitu will sell Mcor’s range of 3D printers in China and Hong Kong.

Saitu Graphics specialises in sales and service of imaging and 2D-print systems to the prepress and printing industry, design companies as well as the educational and government markets; their current product range of equipment includes, large format scanners, HDRi, Visualisation, Survey and Computer Graphics.

“We are very excited about being appointed as Mcor’s distributor for China. We believe that we can leverage our extensive experience in the Chinese market,” said Mr. Allan Valentin Hansen, MD from Saitu Graphic Equipments. “Mcor’s technology provides a top-quality output, colour accuracy, low cost of consumables and eco-friendliness, which gives competitive advantage over other 3D printers in this market.”

"China is an important strategic market for Mcor because of its growing interest in 3D printing and rapid prototyping," said Dr Conor MacCormack, Mcor CEO and Co-founder. "It is therefore important that we select the right local partners. We have full confidence that together with Saitu we will be very successful in China."

Saitu joins a growing number of companies who are taking advantage of Mcor’s recent partner initiative; Southern Educational Systems (SES) and Planting & Tetterode (a Staples company) have partnered with Mcor in the southeastern states of the US and Benelux. And with the imminent launch of their full colour 3D printer, the Mcor IRIS, Mcor are actively seeking channel partners worldwide.

Adds Dr MacCormack, “Mcor is uniquely well positioned to take advantage of the fast growth in the 3D printing market because of our differentiated, low-cost, eco-friendly offering, and adding full colour adds another dimension to the possibilities. So we are actively looking for partners to help us roll out our product range globally.”

Mcor will launch the Mcor IRIS at Euromold 2012 in Frankfurt, Germany, November 27-30, 2012.
