Tally Weijl Selects Centric Software’s PLM Solution
Tally Weijl has selected Centric Software, Inc., for its product lifecycle management (PLM) system.
Tally Weijl will implement the Centric 8 PLM system to manage the entire product development and sourcing process for all of its apparel, footwear and accessories collections. The Tally Weijl Design studio and development team in Paris and the purchasing and planning team in Basel, Switzerland will use the Centric 8 PLM system. The company has purchased the Business Planning, Product Development, Sourcing, Calendar management and Mobility iPhone & iPad modules of the Centric PLM suite.
“Centric’s PLM will support our fast, global expansion, where more product lines are added during every season and more stores are opened in more locations,” explains Beat Grüring, co-founder of Tally Weijl.
Tally Weijl selected Centric for the comprehensiveness of its PLM system, coupled with its expertise and references in the fashion and retail industries. “As a fast fashion company, we also valued Centric’s out-of-the-box and Agile Deployment(SM) approach to be a key driver to achieve a successful PLM implementation within a short timeframe,” continues Grüring.
