Aras to Present on Integrated Requirements Management for Systems Engineering at 2012 Boeing and Northrop Grumman GPDIS Conference

Aras® announced that the company will present at the 2012 Global Product Data Interoperability Summit (GPDIS), November 12-15 in Chandler, Arizona. Hosted by The Boeing Company and the Northrop Grumman Corporation, GPDIS offers attendees a unique opportunity to collaborate on interoperability challenges and gain insight into current technologies best practices used throughout aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding and other industries. 

The theme of GPDIS 2012 is “Product Data Quality Integrated throughout the Value Stream.” Presenters will focus on design, production and visualization as they discuss today’s tactical challenges, advanced industry solutions, and open standards for product data interoperability. Marc Lind, Aras Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, will present Integrated Requirements Management for Systems Engineering at 1:50pm on Wednesday, November 14th.Mr. Lind’s presentation will explore the challenges and risks of systems engineering where requirements span a cross discipline configuration including mechanical, electrical, wiring, software, firmware and other related items, and explain how to break down the barriers and manage complexity for 21st century product development. 

Now in its 4th year, GPDIS serves as a communications hub for industry principals to exchange ideas, solutions and methods for eliminating product data quality gaps in the value stream. Aras will also participate in the technical exposition, which showcases the latest solutions offered by select technology providers. And as a founding member of the 3D PDF Consortium and the only enterprise PLM corporate member, Aras will be highlighting their vision on 3D PDF visualization across the extended enterprise.
