Actify Announces Centro™ 5.0 and SpinFire 10.2

Actify Inc. announced an update to its next generation publishing platform, Centro™ 5.0. Centro enables manufacturing organizations and their supply chains to access, interact with and communicate part data through SpinFire across their wide area networks. With this release is the availability of Centro Catalog, which provides an easy to use web interface to access all design data published by Centro. Actify is also announcing the availability of SpinFire 10.2 which contains the 3D PDF Export plug-in.

"Catalog is an exciting addition to Centro," says Chris Jones, Actify CEO and President. "Because Centro can be integrated with PLM/PDM or data storage systems with the Catalog, it provides users throughout the extended enterprise a very light way to access product design data," continues Jones. "I'm also excited about the release of 3D PDF export with SpinFire. Many of our customers have requested this ability and we are happy to be able to provide them with this plug-in which we plan to expand on and include in Centro down the road," concludes Jones.

Centro is available to existing SpinFire Publisher customers as part of their current maintenance agreements as an upgrade. New customers will be able to license Centro under subscription agreements. Details are available by contacting sales@actify.com.
