Savoy Computing Services Ltd Named an Autodesk Industry Partner

Savoy Computing Services, a leading provider of transportation engineering software, announced it is now an Autodesk AEC Industry Partner. Savoy will work with Autodesk to develop applications that integrate with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D. The two companies will work together to bring Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodologies to infrastructure design, allowing engineers to build reusable data models that streamline the design process and minimize wasted effort when changes occur.

“We feel extremely privileged to be working with Autodesk as an AEC Industry Partner and see it as a ringing endorsement of the solutions we deliver,” said Martin Jefferys, managing director at Savoy.

“Autodesk offers a broad portfolio of solutions—including the Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite 2012-- to help consultants and owners plan, design, build, and manage more sustainable infrastructure, and we are excited to introduce Savoy as an Autodesk AEC Industry Partner,” said Paul McRoberts, vice president, infrastructure product line group, AEC solutions, Autodesk. “This partnership will enable us to jointly deliver to traffic engineers and roadway designers proven methodologies and integrated analysis tools through AutoTrack and AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 to more quickly evaluate 3D models that optimize designs for roundabouts, intersections, and loading bays for safety and standards compliance.”
