AVEVA Extends Footprint in Brazil for Offshore and Marine
AVEVA today announced that as a result of its strong established position in the Brazilian onshore market, AVEVA solutions have been further approved by a leading Owner Operator (OO) in the region for offshore and marine projects. The new agreement means that all EPCs using AVEVA PDMS, AVEVA Marine and AVEVA schematic products including Instrumentation, Electrical and P&ID, can be confident that the formats of their deliverables will comply with the OO's defined standards.
Santiago Pena, Senior Vice President - Latin America, AVEVA said, 'After the success demonstrated in the deployment of the AVEVA Plant portfolio on downstream projects throughout Latin America, this is a great opportunity for AVEVA to support this leading oil & gas OO’s complex major capital projects in the offshore and shipbuilding industries. By certifying AVEVA technology, the OO will benefit from our portfolio of Integrated Engineering & Design applications.
