Korean Specialist for Simulation Becomes Distribution Partner of CONTACT
CONTACT Software and KOSTECH Korea Simulation Technology Co. Ltd. are partnering for sales and distribution in Korea. The company, reseller for LS-DYNA and other CAE-Tools, is specialized on simulation and analysis. In addition KOSTECH supports their customers with consulting and services around those subjects. Fast Concept Modeller (FCM) as an innovative tool tops off the product-portfolio of the south-Korean company. FCM enables an early simulation and validation of products already at the concept stage. A first mutual customer is Hyundai Motor Company, together with its subsidiary KIA being one of the world’s fastest growing automotive companies.
Fast Concept Modeller enables a new level of efficiency in concept design and engineering. The CATIA integrated solution accelerates geometry creation and brings geometrical update stability to a higher level. With the automatic export of FE models for simulation purposes, FE analysis and intuitive modeling are coupled in a very unique way. Young-Gu Chung, Sales Director of Kostech says: “FCM reduces time in product development drastically, hence Korea´s automotive industry will benefit by cutting back excessive cost of design. We believe that FCM will lead innovative changes in the automotive design process.”
