New Design Capabilities with Theorem's DGN to JT CADverter

Theorem Solutions announces the latest DGN to JT CADverter, developed to bridge the gap between the world of Plant Design and Mechanical CAD.

Theorem's DGN to JT CADverter resolves the issue of incompatible data formats and has the ability to complete full design reviews of combined data sets when plant and mechanical CAD design paths meet.

Theorem's latest *.DGN to JT CADverter helps bring designs to life and opens up new capabilities for DGN data.

JT data can read directly by the Siemens mechanical CAD applications NX, NX I-DEAS and SolidEdge, effectively enabling users to access and work with Microstation data undertaking design in context activities.

The DGN to JT CADverter enables the DGN and Mechanical CAD user to combine data from both mechanical design systems and the Microstation application, allowing reviews of combined datasets to be performed.

Users of the DGN to JT CADverter can now benefit from

•Viewing a virtual reality mockup of an entire plant/ship incorporating newly designed components from external MCAD systems to see how they fit available space prior to manufacture.

•Generate a number of JT data types that can be opened and shared with number of external MCAD applications

•The CADverter integrates into an active Microstation environment but operates completely independently of any JT applications.

•Multiple versions of DGN supported, all versions of JT supported

This product has been developed using both the Bentley Microstation and the Siemens JT Open API's guaranteeing compatibility with the latest vendor releases and is available for Windows 32BIT and 64BIT platforms
