Delcam to Sponsor ISTMA International Toolmaking Conference
Delcam is to sponsor the opening dinner of the 14th World Conference of the International Special Tooling & Machining Association (ISTMA) at the Tortworth Court Hotel, Wotton-under-Edge. The World Conference, which takes place from 3rd to 5th April, is being organised by the GTMA and being hosted by Renishaw at its headquarters in Wotton-under-Edge.
ISTMA is an international association representing thirty special tooling and machining associations throughout the world. Collectively, ISTMA member associations represent over 8,000 companies and over $40 billion U.S. dollars in annual sales.
The Association meets regularly to review developments affecting the toolmaking industry throughout the world. GTMA members, in particular toolmakers, pattern makers and precision machining companies are invited to attend the meetings on 4th April to meet colleagues and Trade Association representatives from many of the countries making up the ISTMA membership.
"Delcam’s origins are in the toolmaking industry so we are pleased to sponsor this ISTMA meeting,” said Delcam Marketing Manager, Peter Dickin. "Even though we have diversified our business in recent years, toolmaking is still a key market for our CADCAM software. The ISTMA meeting provides a great opportunity to meet senior representatives of the industry from around the world.”
