New Integration Node with STAR-CCM+ Optimate add-on
modeFRONTIER’s collaborative optimization environment is now available for CFD engineers working with STAR-CCM+ owing to the new integration with CD-adapco’s Optimate add-on.
This easy-to-use integration between modeFRONTIER and Optimate works just as well for single or multi-objective optimization studies, and can be used for cases where the geometry comes from the STAR-CCM+ 3D-CAD Modeler, or from external CAD programs such as CATIA, NX or PRO-E.
The advantages of this new integration are highlighted in the case study titled Multi-Objective Optimization of a Boomerang Shape using modeFRONTIER & STAR-CCM+, to be presented on March 19th at the STAR Global Conference 2013 in Orlando (FL).
