PSA will Exhibit CMPRO and Present at the 18th Annual ACDM Technical and Training Conference
Professional Systems Associates, Inc. (PSA) announces participation in the 18th Annual Association of Configuration and Data Management (ACDM) Technical and Training Conference, being held April 7-10, 2013 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Senior Systems Analyst, Rob Stone, will exhibit CMPRO and present “Exploring the Transformation of CDM Awareness and Education via Game Based Learning (GBL)”.
Rob Stone’s presentation will explore GBL and its potential to transform Configuration and Data Management (CDM) awareness and education. Rob Stone stated, “One of the continual challenges facing the configuration and data management community is helping people become aware of, learn about, and remain properly educated regarding CDM concepts and principles.” Stone continues, “Although the core concepts of game based learning are not necessarily new, they may offer a fresh way to engage people in learning about Configuration and Data Management, which results in a better understanding in the value and application of CDM.”
According to Cynthia Hauer, President of ACDM, “Rob brings a fresh focus to ACDM, with his perspectives and understanding of new tools and technologies that enhance the disciplines of CM and DM. Of particular note is his vision for ACDM's net presence and how we can reach out to younger, newer practitioners.”
