Informative Graphics Announces Brava! for EMC Documentum xCP 2.0

Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) has updated its flagship viewing and collaboration software, Brava!®, for the latest version of EMC Documentum xCP. IGC participated in the EMC Early Access Program xCP 2.0, ensuring that Brava is seamlessly integrated into the solution development platform.

The Brava HTML client adds functionality to EMC Documentum xCP 2.0 that is not available in competing viewers, such as:

  • Users can view and collaborate on virtually any type of file, including PDFs, CAD drawings, image files and Microsoft Office documents.
  • Comments and redactions are made directly within Brava, although they are saved in a separate file within the EMC Documentum repository. This ensures that the original source document is never compromised.
  • Brava offers redaction tools for removing sensitive content from documents, not just hiding it.
  • Bidirectional, dynamic stamps can pull data from the database or push user-entered data to it.

"IGC has been an EMC partner for 16 years," said IGC President and CEO Gary Heath. "We're delighted to continue meeting the evolving needs of EMC customers."
