CAMCAD Technologies Named Top SURFCAM® Reseller in North America
CAMCAD Technologies, Inc., a Central Florida-based provider of manufacturing software solutions to increase productivity and profitability, has been named the number one SURFCAM® value-added reseller (VAR) in North America for the month of March. The company is currently ranked number two in the world for SURFCAM® value-added resellers.
SURFWARE, Inc. is a provider of milling and metal cutting software solutions for machine shops across the world and developer of the global leader SURFCAM® CAD/CAM systems. In February the company announced that Vero Software had acquired their SURFCAM assets.
SURFCAM has experienced strong sales throughout the first quarter and attributes much of the success to regional resellers. "It is a difficult task to be a successful Software Sales organization today in any type of market," said Matt Soucy, Reseller Manager for SURFCAM. "SURFCAM is very fortunate to have such a loyal and dedicated organization of Software VAR's to partner with."
Founded in 1991 by Don McKillop, CAMCAD Technologies serves manufacturing communities across the Southeast with CAM software, edit-free post processors, custom applications, reverse engineering and contract part programming. In 2000, a CAMCAD customer presented a problem that couldn't be solved with off-the-shelf software. Thus, the company's custom software development for manufacturing applications was born.

CAMCAD Technologies, Inc. has continually ranked in the top five for SURFCAM resellers for the past 17 years. In January, they were recognized as reseller of the month, and in 2009, they were awarded the prestigious title of SURFCAM Reseller of the Year.
