Lectra to Sponsor North Carolina State University's Fashion Week 2013
Lectra is pleased to announce its sponsorship of North Carolina State University's Fashion Week 2013.
NC State Fashion Week 2013, with a theme of "A Celebration of Creativity," will take place on April 22-26 at the school's Raleigh, NC campus. The event will showcase the importance of ideation, collaboration and innovation; and will feature industry leaders, educational forums, fashion shows and exhibitions of student work. Anastasia Charbin, Fashion Marketing Director, Lectra and Hari Kenkare, Schools Partnership Manager, will participate in an educational forum on Design, Innovation and Technology.
NC State's College of Textiles, a Lectra Privilege education partner, has been using Lectra software and cutting solutions in their program for more than 15 years. Students can leverage Lectra's full range of solutions, including fashion and textile design, advanced pattern-making and 3D virtual prototypes, pre-costing and production markers, high performance cutting and finally, Lectra Fashion PLM to manage the entire collection development process.
