IMAGINiT Technologies Launches Revit Health Check

Rand Worldwide today announced that its IMAGINiT Technologies division has launched their Revit Health Check service. This unique analysis performed by IMAGINiT experts enables organizations to successfully implement a Building Information Modeling BIM strategy.

“Around the globe, our IMAGINiT experts have seen organizations using Autodesk Revit software in a wide variety of ways, and unfortunately, the vast majority of these organizations have not been maximizing the real potential of a BIM strategy,” says Bill Zavadil, senior vice president of worldwide services, IMAGINiT Technologies. “To increase profitability, mitigate risk and eliminate inefficiencies, IMAGINiT’s new Revit Health Check analysis first identifies critical BIM process workflow issues and then provides a BIM execution plan that meets their objectives through the optimal use of people, process and technology.”

A Proven Two-Phased Process

IMAGINiT’s Revit Health Check analysis includes two phases. For a brief overview, watch this video. Keeping the client’s business objectives in mind, in phase one IMAGINiT experts assess how the team is using Revit, identifying inefficiencies and proficiency gaps. Through probing questions derived from years of helping clients recognize and experience the benefits of BIM processes in their organization, IMAGINiT experts will uncover challenges including inconsistent design standards, unproductive workarounds, excessive file sizes, and more.

Once team interviews are complete, IMAGINiT experts analyze select Revit project files and related documents. This phase uncovers the answers to issues related to model optimization, collaborative workflows, software performance, information quality and more.

Actionable Advice

Once the interviews and data analysis are complete, IMAGINiT experts provide two deliverables containing actionable advice that teams can immediately implement. The first deliverable outlines the top 10 recommendations that the organization can immediately implement to optimize workflows and improve efficiencies. The second deliverable is a detailed report that fully describes the Health Check findings and lists actions grouped into high, medium and low priorities so that team make the most appropriate improvements over time, ultimately achieving the full potential of BIM.
