aPriori Product Cost Management Platform Named a Finalist for Plant Engineering’s Product of the Year Award
aPriori, a provider of enterprise product cost management software solutions, has been named a finalist in Plant Engineering Magazine’s 25th Annual Product of the Year competition. The company’s software platform is one of four companies selected in the Apps for Engineers category. The awards are the premier honor for new products in the manufacturing and industrial automation markets, recognizing those solutions that do the most to help plant managers do their job better, smarter and more efficiently.
aPriori’s Product Cost Management software platform helps manufacturers reduce product costs and accelerate time to market by equipping design, engineering, sourcing and manufacturing professionals with the knowledge and ability to quickly and precisely determine the cost of a part or complete product. The software leverages computer-aided design (CAD) and intelligent cost models to enable users to quickly generate detailed product cost estimates and quantify the cost impact of changes to product design, materials, manufacturing processes, volumes and locations.
