xPLM Solution Acquires Sinteg, Provider of Solutions for Product Documentation
With the acquisition of Sinteg AG, xPLM Solution GmbH further expands its leading role as a supplier of Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) solutions. Sinteg, located in Effretikon / Zürich (Switzerland), is a well-known provider of solutions for creating and publishing technical information and product support documentation. Sinteg was founded in 1990, and has a well-established and international base of customers across a range of manufacturing industries including automotive, tool-building, machine and plant construction, as well as with the energy and electro-technology industry sectors. Their solutions are deeply embedded in the product creation process and optimize the creation, management and publishing of documentation such as manuals, spare parts catalogues, maintenance instructions and product information sheets. Sinteg’s innovative solutions support the trend to create product information and documentation once and thereafter efficiently publishing, in several languages, on various print media and consumer electronic devices.
Sinteg partners with providers of documentation and editorial system solutions and is an Adobe Authorised Training Center for FrameMaker. Sinteg will continue to operate from their office in Effretikon and customers will be supported by the same experienced service and support staff. Sinteg will continue to offer their full suite of products and services and Albin Hollenstein will remain Managing Director.
