Atos Honored as 2013 SAP® Pinnacle Award Recipient
In recognition of its strong partnership with SAP, Atos announced it has received two 2013 SAP® Pinnacle awards, as the Sustainability Partner of the Year and Application Co-innovation Partner of the Year. SAP Pinnacle awards are presented annually to the top SAP partners that have excelled in developing and growing their partnership with SAP and driving customer success. Finalists and winners in 19 categories were based on field recommendations, customer feedback and performance indicators in the following four categories: co-innovation, market expansion, service delivery and sustainability.
The SAP Pinnacle awards showcase SAP’s commitment to its partner ecosystem strategy, which delivers unmatched value to customers and enables SAP to reach its business goals. Award winners will be formally recognized at SAPPHIRE® NOW, SAP’s international customer conference being held in Orlando, Fla., May 14 – 16.

Atos has been able to expand and deepen the partnership with SAP through various joint engagements. Both companies cooperate to provide the customers with cutting-edge expertise in the areas of sustainability and IT, relying on Atos recognized leadership in Corporate Responsibility, sustainability solutions and SAP solutions for intelligent sustainability and safety, health and environment.
Running the SAP Environment, Health, and Safety Management application on SAP ERP, allowed Taminco, a global chemicals producer to streamline current and future regulatory compliance while lowering operational risk and costs. Robert Moeyens, application manager at Taminco, a global chemicals producer, illustrates: “At Taminco we aim for profitable growth through environmental care and social responsibility. We partner with Atos for its solid expertise in sustainability solutions, especially combined with its knowledge of SAP solutions. On the application co-innovation front, Atos and SAP have collaborated on a large variety of projects. Mobilizing the energy market like provider PSEG with tablet solutions or empowering the workforce of Energie Steiermark with SAP Work Manager and SAP Multiresource Scheduling rapid-deployment solution or even enabling a paperless factory at Varian Medical Systems with a user friendly interface, streamlining the production process and managing WIP in real time are just some prime examples of solutions that Atos has put in place.
As a recipient of a 2013 SAP Pinnacle award, Atos has been invited to participate in the SAP Leadership Forum at SAPPHIRE NOW. During the forum, winners will receive their 2013 SAP Pinnacle awards. The SAP Leadership Forum will bring together an exclusive group of executives from SAP’s top customers, prospects and partner organizations, providing an opportunity to network and exchange business ideas.
