NextLabs® Extends Collaborative Rights Management to Support SAP® 3D Visual Enterprise
NextLabs®, Inc., today announced that its Collaborative Rights Management product has been extended to support SAP® 3D Visual Enterprise applications. The solution, called NextLabs Secure Collaboration for SAP 3D Visual Enterprise, enables safe collaboration and protects intellectual property (IP) by securing the content in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise.
Customers use SAP 3D Visual Enterprise applications to access, design and share Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings, specifications and service manuals. To protect IP, businesses need to control access and usage rights for the content in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise as they collaborate globally with employees, contractors and partners. NextLabs provides rights protection for SAP 3D Visual Enterprise content across multiple platforms based on centralized policies. The solution provides dynamic authorization, governing access and usage rights based on multiple attributes such as identity, location, content, and usage.
This new solution complements the NextLabs Entitlement Manager, an SAP-endorsed business solution, by extending IP protection to content in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise applications. With the introduction of Secure Collaboration for SAP 3D Visual Enterprise, customers can now control access and usage rights of data across SAP applications including SAP ERP, SAP Product Lifecycle Management (SAP PLM), SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM), SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM), and SAP 3D Visual Enterprise.
