Nemetschek AG: New CEO at Allplan
Nemetschek AG has named Dr. Jörg Rahmer as the new CEO of its 100%-owned subsidiary Allplan. Dr. Rahmer will be starting in his new position in October 2013.
The new CEO holds a doctorate in computer science and looks back on many years of experience in the software and online sectors. In particular, he possesses proven expertise in product management, product development and pricing. In the course of his career, he has set up a number of industry-oriented business divisions and has comprehensive experience in leadership roles in international software and online companies. His last position was COO and Managing Director of a renowned online portal.
'With Dr. Rahmer we have been able to gain an ideal candidate who considerably adds to the strength and competence in the company, especially in view of the implementation of our growth strategy,' says Tanja Tamara Dreilich, Executive Board of the Nemetschek AG. 'I am convinced that the new CEO will continue on the path Allplan has set out on and that he will lead the company to new earning power and strength in growth,' adds Dreilich.
'I look forward to this new challenge at Allplan. The priority is on opening up new market segments and the growth of the Group at international level,' Dr. Jörg Rahmer responds.
