CimatronE & GibbsCAM Show Latest Technology in Russia

Cimatron Limited today announced that the latest versions of its signature software solutions, CimatronE 11 and GibbsCAM 2013, will be showcased at the Metalloobrabotka trade show in Moscow, May 27-31, 2013.

"For over two decades, Cimatron has been successfully serving the Russian aerospace, mechanical and automotive industries," said Mr Ira Bareket, Cimatron's VP Sales and Marketing.

"Engineers who have admired CimatronE's CAM programming capabilities from 2.5 Axis to 5 Axis, will now be impressed with the addition of our GibbsCAM product line, offering unparalleled programming power from the simplest lathe to the most sophisticated multi axis mill-turn machines.

"Mold and die designers will appreciate the latest advancements in CimatronE's specialized CAD/CAM software for the design of molds and dies, enabling significant time savings in the design of any tool, no matter how complex.

"Visitors to Metalloobrabotka will have the opportunity to experience first-hand just how powerful CimatronE and GibbsCAM really are, with both products profiled by our local reseller Bee-Pitron."

The Bee-Pitron booth (Pavilion 2, Hall 1, Booth 21D70) will showcase the new and enhanced capabilities in GibbsCAM 2013 and CimatronE 11.

GibbsCAM capabilities to be featured at Metalloobrabotka include those for mill-turn and multi-task machining (MTM). New features in GibbsCAM 2013 include a mill feature for assigning machining attributes to part features, improved surface flow, and enhanced lathe plunge roughing, as well as two new options, 5-Axis MultiBlade for turbomachinery parts and 5-Axis Porting for engine port and throttle body applications.

CimatronE capabilities to be showcased at Metalloobrabotka include those for mold and die design and NC programming, as well as for discrete production. Among the new and enhanced features of CimatronE 11 to be highlighted is the new ECO Manager, which offers highly effective identification and analysis, implementation and documentation of any number of engineering changes in an existing project.

In addition, CimatronE live machining demonstrations will be held at the booth of tool company TM-tech (Booth 1C60). CimatronE will power vertical milling machine Twinhorn VH-1010, and horizontal milling machine Twinhorn HF-380. Scaled parts to be machined using aluminum alloys include a boat, AK-47 assault rifle, and a forging die.
