Zuken to Share Design Flow Expertise at Device Developers' Conference

Zuken, a provider of electronic engineering software solutions, announces its support for the first Device Developers’ Conference in May this year. The company will present the latest thinking in software tools for PCB and system-level design, and explore how engineers can overcome the hurdles of new technology to deliver innovatively superior devices.

Device Developers' Conference is a new annual event for engineers and designers involved in developing intelligent systems and devices. The free three-venue event will take place in Bristol (14 May), Cambridge (16 May) and Manchester (22 May). Nikola Kontic, an electronics design engineering expert from Zuken speaking at all three locations:

“This new event offers us the perfect opportunity to share our electronics engineering design knowledge and expertise. We will explain how device developers can improve their design approach by working with engineers from the product planning, conceptual stage and reusing, sharing and synchronizing design data to achieve a smooth flow throughout the design process.

PCB design can be a challenging aspect of any project as it has a major impact on the size, cost, performance and reliability of a product”. - Nikola Kontic, Zuken

“Zuken’s involvement broadens the scope of the event, offering delegates a comprehensive view of device development”. - Richard Blackburn, event organisers Energi Technical.

The event will feature informative half-day workshops, presentations introducing leading-edge concepts and technologies, and a vendor exhibition where engineers can get up-to-date information on the latest tools and technologies.

The Device Developers’ Conference was developed with the busy engineer in mind. With a single-day commitment, free admission and a choice of three locations, delegates can attend with minimal travel time and expense. Added benefits include a half-day technology workshop program with hands-on training from industry experts on subjects including:

  • device driver development
  • advanced debugging
  • exploiting low cost, low power smart phone technology
