zSpace, Inc. Partnership With Siemens PLM Software Delivers Enhanced 3D Visualization Solution
zSpace, Inc. today announced a new zSpace interface for Siemens PLM Software's Teamcenter® portfolio. zSpace, Inc. will demonstrate the new interface at PLM World 2013 taking place June 3-6 in Dallas, Texas -- an event that brings together Siemens PLM Software users to collaborate and learn about the latest developments. Eric Morse, VP of Sales and Business Development, zSpace, Inc., will discuss the value of this new interface as part of a panel on robust design.

The new zSpace interface will deliver enhanced immersive 3D visualization capabilities that will enable Teamcenter users to review 3D design components in six degrees of freedom and use the platform's head tracking capabilities to provide advanced analysis of craftsmanship and ergonomics. Teamcenter users can leverage zSpace, a 3D virtual holographic platform, to achieve a higher level of realism and interactive collaboration throughout the product manufacturing process directly from their desktop. zSpace is a Software & Technology Partner in Siemens PLM Software Solution Partner Program.
Teamcenter combines many facets of design, engineering and production while enabling designers and engineers based anywhere in the world to see the same models and mock ups, and share notes over the network. The software accommodates all major native CAD and neutral file formats.
As products are growing more complex and global design teams are required to make critical decisions during the design review process, the addition of zSpace strengthens the immersive visualization experience and makes it easier to recognize flaws, enhancements or other design issues earlier in the process from any angle, regardless of location. Additionally, designers and engineers can intuitively interact with designs and, using the zSpace stylus, can easily navigate detailed assemblies to adjust or fine-tune product designs.
