Kenesto Announces General Availability of Major Solution Update Enabling Collaborative Ecosystem for Product and Project Teams of Any Size and Complexity

Kenesto Corp. today announced general availability of a major solution update.  As it continues to expand the horizons of Social Business Collaboration, Kenesto’s latest release offers a high level of applicability in many areas, including general business-to-business collaboration, 3D product and building design collaboration, 3D visualization and mark-up, project team communication, project organization, 3D printing ecosystem enablement, and more.

Kenesto’s first major update since launching its all-in-one Social Business Collaboration solution in January incorporates many new customer-driven capabilities to significantly enhance its collection of cloud-based File Sharing, Task Management, Workflow, Project Organization, and Business Collaboration capabilities, specifically designed for organizations large and small.

“In addition to the many new customer-driven features we’ve added to our subscription-based professional offering,” said Michael Payne, Kenesto CEO, “our free Community Edition has been expanded to better enable collaboration among members of communities such as those in the Maker Market, and is also rapidly becoming a recognized platform for supporting collaborative ecosystems such as those that support new trends in areas like 3D printing.”

With immediate availability of this major release, Kenesto now offers an even richer set of collaborative capabilities which include:  an improved user interface, expanded task management - including dependencies, enhanced contextual and stand-alone conversations, 100% cloud-rendered viewing of 3D models, file mark-up, mobile-device-enabled Revit® model sharing, improved partner collaboration, and much more.

“Most social offerings being introduced to the market have been too limited in scope, are not well integrated with the applications that people use on a day-to-day basis, or are not properly rooted in a business context. Kenesto is taking advantage of this opportunity to deliver a highly innovative solution for the burgeoning Social Business Collaboration market,” said Stan Przybylinski, Vice President of Research at CIMdata, Inc., a global leader in PLM consulting.

Kenesto offers a subscription-based professional version of its solution as well as a free community edition designed for independent contractors, makers, and others who do not require a separate cloud tenant – but which is also well-suited for early evaluation of what features and capabilities can be expected within a separate business edition tenant.
