SolidWorks Users Gain Access to High Level Nastran Analysis and Simulation

SolidWorks CAD software users interested in the structural and thermal performance of their products and component parts now have access to advanced NEi Nastran finite element analysis (FEA) capabilities with NEi Works 2013. NEi Works was originally developed to provide Nastran computer-aided-engineering (CAE) in a completely familiar working environment for SolidWorks users. Embedding NEi Works in SolidWorks accomplished that and eliminated the learning curve and any compatibility issues typically introduced by CAE software with different and proprietary platforms. NEi Works earned SolidWorks' Gold Product status in the process. Most important, the NEi Nastran solvers underlying NEi Works bring superior accuracy and sophistication to engineering simulation based on NEi Nastran's history of use in a wide range of demanding applications -- from high profile aerospace projects to world class sporting events like Formula 1, America's Cup and the Tour de France.

With NEi Works 2013, additional advanced analysis types are now available, as well as enhancements that make simulation more compelling. Results are more insightful using new data display tools for graphing and animation, while productivity in model preparation benefits from new meshing features and load types. For product information and a video demonstration go to www.nenastran.com/engineeringsoftware/nei-works.php.
