Five-GPU BOXX Workstation earns CATIA Certification
BOXX Technologies, the innovator of high-performance computer workstations and rendering systems, announced that their five- GPU 3DBOXX 8950 workstation has achieved CATIA® certification, joining an elite group of workstations certified by Dassault Systèmes to run its CAD/CAM/CAE commercial software suite. The occasion also marks the first time a computer workstation featuring more than two GPUs has earned such certification. Strategically partnered with Dassault Systèmes, BOXX is a designated SolidWorks Solution Partner, and leading manufacturer of CATIA and SolidWorks-certified workstations.

Featuring four dual-slot graphics, coprocessor, or accelerator cards (NVIDIA Maximus technology), three additional PCI-E slots, dual eight-core Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 processors, liquid cooling, and 512GB system memory, the versatile 3DBOXX 8950 delivers high-powered performance for advanced visualization, simulation and computation. The system certified by Dassault Systèmes for CATIA includes one NVIDIA Quadro K2000 and four NVIDIA Tesla K20 cards.
