Aras Sponsors 2013 Daimler EDM CAE Forum in Germany
Aras® today announced that the company will sponsor the 2013 Daimler EDM CAE Forum. The event brings together Daimler AG employees and suppliers to discuss the latest strategies, processes and technologies for global product development and data management.
The Daimler EDM CAE Forum takes place July 10-11, 2013 at the ICS International Congresscenter Stuttgart. Attendees can visit Aras in stand PM32. Visitors will learn about automotive industry process and data management across the extended enterprise supply chain with the advanced PLM platform from Aras including CATIA and NX multi-CAD management, requirements management for systems engineering, Advanced Product Quality Planning and more.
Aras, a signatory member of the Codex of PLM Openness, will discuss the importance of open architecture, standards, interoperability, infrastructure, expandability and interfaces to truly enable global supply chain collaboration.
The EDM CAE Forum supports Daimler’s commitment to the continuous exchange of information and views regarding strategic product development. The 2013 forum theme, "Engineering for Global Success", will address the ways in which product development at Daimler AG responds to global requirements today and in the future.
