Missler Software and Haas Automation Europe collaborate closely on 5-axis machining

Missler Software and CNC machine tool builder Haas Automation have increased collaboration towards the development of an easy-to-use, affordable, high productivity 5-axis machining solution. The French CAD/CAM software vendor Missler Software developed and tested a powerful, specific 5-axis TopSolid’Cam post-processor that is perfectly adapted to using and programming the new Haas UMC-750 universal machining center for 5-axis positioning and full 5-axis continuous machining.

“Thanks to this cooperation, companies have access to an easy-to-use, yet precise 5-axis simultaneous machining solution, capable of delivering high performance and reliability coupled with a high degree of flexibility”, says Dominique Laffret, Vice-President of Strategic Relationships at Missler Software. “The UMC-750/CAD-CAM TopSolid’Cam package offers a concrete response to the needs of companies who want to make their machining operations faster and easier and thereby achieve significant productivity and time gains.”

“TopSolid’Cam offers flawless ISO programming for successful production on the Haas UMC-750”, Bert Maes, Marketing Manager at Haas Automation Europe adds. “We have worked closely in setting up a series of simulation tests. The results have shown that TopSolid'Cam software perfectly fits the programming requirements of the UMC-750. In addition, the tests have shown that the Haas UMC-750 can handle the most difficult parts developed by Missler Software in its category. The Haas UMC-750 in combination with the UMC-750/CAD-CAM TopSolid’Cam package offers manufacturing companies a truly easy and reliable answer to their 5-axis machining needs.”
