AVEVA joins Offshoreenergy.dk
AVEVA announced today that it has joined the Esbjerg-based network Offshoreenergy.dk. The network focuses on building collaboration across the Danish oil & gas, offshore and wind energy industries.
'The majority of the Danish offshore activity is in the Norwegian and British areas of the North Sea, where AVEVA has a dominant position for engineering design and information management solutions', says Thomas Brandén, Vice President – EMEA-North, AVEVA. 'We look forward to contributing to this unique organisation and joining the many networking activities with the other 275 members of Offshoreenergy.dk. '
Director Morten Basse Jensen from Offshoreenergy.dk Renewable welcomes AVEVA as one of its members. 'Our main task through networking activities is to ensure that our members engage in dialogue with relevant partners. I am convinced that Offshoreenergy.dk can contribute to strengthening AVEVA's presence in both Denmark and globally.'
In addition, AVEVA will host upcoming Offshore Engineering IT seminars in Esbjerg.
