HP Subsidiary Unveils Cloud Collaboration Tool for Enterprises
Hewlett Packard Autonomy subsidiary has introduced cloud-based technology for enterprise users to collaborate on documents and share files with colleagues, business partners and clients in a secure network.
The LinkSite platform works to integrate HP’s data and email management software for on-premise deployment and act as a collaborative file-sharing tool for public clouds, HP said Monday.
Neil Araujo, general manager of enterprise content management at HP Autonomy, said the tool seeks to provide customers a documented collaboration service and address the needs of IT compliance teams.
LinkSite users can work on a single file or a whole folder inside and outside of a firewall, HP says.
The platform is also designed to automatically synchronize documents across multiple devices and give employees access to the files by using any web browser, HP says.
