xPLM Solution Opens New Innovation & Service Center in Böblingen, Germany
xPLM Solution, a provider of integrations for engineering tools, office applications and enterprise systems, announces the expansion of its development team and the opening of a new Innovation & Service Center in Böblingen, Germany. A highly experienced development team long established in the CAD and PLM market will join xPLM Solution and start working at their new Innovation & Service Center in the Stuttgart area.
xPLM Solution’s continual market growth and this expansion of development resources in a new office location will allow them to significantly increase their software development capabilities and services for their customers. The new team in Böblingen will collaborate closely with developers based at the company’s headquarters in Dresden to develop innovative IT solutions in the fields of PLM and Systems Engineering. The new development team members come from a worldwide leading CAD/PLM provider and have recognized expertise in modern development methods. This will allow them to start work immediately on existing development projects without the need for a long ramp-up period.
“It is not easy to find good and experienced developers today in our market segment. The new office in the Stuttgart area will open 1 October 2013. xPLM Solution will also establish additional sales, consultancy and service capacities at the new Innovation & Service Center to provide closer customer contact. The new office will be located in the Forum1 Technology Competence Centre, Charles-Lindbergh-Straße 11, 71034 Böblingen, close to the Böblingen main train station.
