Hawk Ridge Systems Expands DS SolidWorks Partnership in Canada and Showcases SolidWorks 2014

Hawk Ridge Systems (www.hawkridgesys.ca) has extended its geographic coverage in Canada to include the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Long known as a leader in Western Canada in British Columbia and Alberta, and successfully serving the SolidWorks community in Ontario since 2012, Hawk Ridge Systems provides sales, training and technical support for SolidWorks 3D design softwareCAMWorks manufacturing software and 3D printers from 3D Systems. Hawk Ridge Systems recently expanded its solutions portfolio to include SolidWorks Electrical, SIMULIA Abaqus and the newly announced NVIDIA GRID VCA which offers a virtual computing platform for SolidWorks 2014.

Last April, the former SolidWorks Canadian reseller, Automated Design Systems (ADS) sold a large percentage of its SolidWorks customer base to Hawk Ridge Systems. Since then, Hawk Ridge Systems has been providing sales, training and technical support to SolidWorks users across Canada. “We are pleased to have the SolidWorks users from ADS join the team at Hawk Ridge Systems,” says Dale Ford, P. Next month in October, the SolidWorks 2014 Launch events will be held in Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. Hosted by the Canadian team of engineers and product managers, the SolidWorks 2014 Launch will provide an opportunity to see SolidWorks 2014 live, learn about analysis and product data management tools, win prizes and enter to win a NHL jersey.
