Aeronamic Selects Aras PLM and Minerva as Implementation Partner for Precision Manufacturing
Aras® today announced that Aeronamic, a global provider of complex sub-systems for the aerospace industry, headquartered in The Netherlands, has selected Aras PLM for precision manufacturing management. Aeronamic’s implementation of Aras includes all of the information required to manufacture a part, including new product introduction, APQP, CAPA, FMEA and control plans, documentation and project management, in a single system.
Key drivers in Aeronamic’s selection were speed of implementation, breadth of functionality and cost effectiveness. “Aras provided more functionality at less than 50% of the cost of another leading PLM system,” explained Steffen de Vries, CEO at Aeronamic. “Minerva demonstrated how Aras supports APQP and FMEA. Other PLM companies couldn’t demonstrate how they would do that,” said Steffen De Vries. “With Aras and Minerva, our team could see how the solution mapped to our business challenges.”
