CADsoft Consulting Offering Solutions for Transportation

CADsoft Consulting Inc., today announced that it is now offering a new product, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking 2014 aimed to improve its transportation portfolio from Autodesk, Inc.

Autodesk Vehicle Tracking 2014 is a comprehensive analysis and design solution and companion for civil engineers and designers using the 2013 and 2014 versions of Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture, Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autodesk AutoCAD Map 3D and Autodesk AutoCAD Utility Design. Based on field-proven technology assets recently acquired from Savoy Computing Services, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking 2014 enables engineers, designers, and planners working on transportation or site design projects to predictably evaluate vehicle movements.

Key Benefits for Road Designers, Civil and Traffic Engineers

  • Enhance productivity and evaluate more what-if scenarios earlier in the process of designing roundabouts, intersections and loading bays
  • Help save time and money integrating industry proven analysis methods in the design process
  • Conduct interactive simulations to better understand project performance related to traffic turning movements

"We are excited to offer this technology to our customers with much requested solutions for complex roundabout design and layouts while maintaining compliance with appropriate design standards," stated Don Kapetanovic, VP Technical Operations, CADsoft Consulting. "Our team of Civil 3D technical experts are looking forward to demonstrating the advantages of integrating this technology into our customer’s design workflows."
